Tech Sex: Entrepreneur Opening A Cafe Serviced By Sex Robots
The mantra of every good businessman is to know the art of the pivot.
Entrepreneur Bradley Charvet’s pivot pivot has been quite extreme, he plans on a pleasure robot cafe from the United Kingdom to the streets of Switzerland.
Charvet who made headlines this summer with his audacious, and unsuccessful plans to open his ‘fellatio’ cafe in London, had also set his sights on Geneva for their more lax regulation on prostitution and sexual acts.
His plan mirrored a similar concept found in Thailand, with a comfortable baroque style that would be welcoming to patrons looking for food and pleasure.
However Charvet’s ambition came to an impasse in Switzerland as legal regulations forbade sexual conduct to take place in public establishments such as the coffee cafe.
Despite the door being closed on this particular avenue, this hasn’t stopped Charvet from achieving his mission.
This has opened up a new lane for technological advancement as he plans to purchase robot sex workers to replace human involvement for fellatio.
The eccentric shift led Charvet to purchase eight of these sex robots from an unnamed American-based company to a total of $24,000.
This isn’t a completely abstract number as the development in a growing automated sex worker industry has made leaps and bounds despite immediately being landlocked in the ‘Uncanny Valley’ paradox.
Charvet plans on opening his robot cafe later this year.
