Scientific Evidence Shows Bald Men Are Smarter And Most Successful

For years men have turned to Rogaine, hair plugs, and even lock extensions to mask the ever so devastating tragedy that is hair loss.
I’m not sure if it was Samson, Van Halen, or the Migos, but having long hair for men has always come with a sense of pride. Personally, the moment I saw Michael Jackson hit the moonwalk at the Apollo in 1983 is when I first wanted to grow out my hair.
While watching it on YouTube has nothing on witnessing it live, when Michael pulled out his invisible comb and fake combed his hair, I lost my damn mind.
Since the big hair and Jerry Curl stage, men’s emphasis on hair has not been as adamant, but having hair, in general, has been sorta the status quo.
Well, that status quo may be time to change.
According to a study of the University of Pennsylvania scientist Albert E. Mannes, bald men are more successful, intelligent, and masculine.
Mannes conducted a study in 2012 with 59 subjects to find out how people react to men with shaved heads by showing them a series of pictures.
Each subject got to see each photo twice.  Once of a man with a full crown and once of the same man except now bald. The subjects reported that they thought the bald men were more dominant, bigger, and stronger.
How’s that for a plot twist.
Tech-entrepreneur Seth Godin, who is a 20-year hairless veteran, tried to explain why bald men tend to be seen as more dominant to the Wall Street Journal:

“I’m not saying that shaving your head makes you successful, but it starts the conversation that you’ve done something active.”

Strong and active aren’t the only attributes associated with balding. Bald men are not just more powerful, they are also seen as more intelligent.
Psychologist Ronald Henss of the University of Saarland conducted a global study with over 20 subjects suggests that bald men are estimated to be older, but also seem wiser and more intelligent.
So there you have it. Bald is masculine and attractive. You have to thank pioneers like Bruce Willis, Jason Statham, and Michael Jordan for being bald revolutionaries.
Next time you think you’re losing hair, go crazy and shave it all off. It might work for you.
