New Smart Condom Will Change The Way You Look At Contraceptives
Monitoring and tracking our bodily functions has become the norm in our technological world.
You can order an Apple Watch or Fit Bit and really hone in on your intake/outtake or you can literally use your phone, which more likely than not has some kind of step or heart tracking capability.
With this kind of technology, it was only a matter of time before it transcended into different vertices. Like your penis.
The i.Con Smart Condom, which is being described as the “world’s first smart condom ring,” was designed to keep tabs on your sex life.
Rest assured, you don’t have to keep using the same condom over and over again. In fact, the i.Con Smart Condom is not a condom at all. It’s more a ring that you place at the base of your penis/condom during intercourse.
The technology is very similar to the various other tracking devices out there.
Using nanochips and sensors, the ring records the speed of your thrusts, total number of thrusts, frequency of sex, number of sex sessions, girth measurement of your penis, the different sex positions you use, and how many calories you burn during sex.
Yes, while I’m sure you don’t need a little device to tell you how to have sex or to be good in bed, performance to any capacity can be studied, evaluated and tweaked. And the same goes for sex.
Maybe you want to improve your stroke game. With the proper data, you’ll be able to track what time you always give out, maybe single out the good performances to see what worked, or maybe just give you an accurate body count.
The data will be anonymous, but will also have a sharing feature where you can show off to your boys or even compare (if that’s what you’re into).
The device is available for preorder but the company won’t take your money until they are certain on when that would be.
As appealing and possibly enlightening as this sounds, it seems like a lot of extra work to put on a penile fitbit. We’ll be sure to watch this technology over the next couple years.
