Get Your Stats Up: Study Shows Happy Couples Have Sex At Least Once A Week
Sex is the most intimate thing humans can do to interact, aside from business, and is a constant source of both comfort and anxiety.
Sex is an essential part of every relationship, and according to the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, couples who report that they are happy with the state of their relationship have sex at least once a week.
In heterosexual relationships, in a conversation between Elite Daily and the professionals at The Westchester Therapy Group, despite the differences between individual reasons for sexual intercourse from relationship to relationship, there is a commonality between sex and emotional closeness between partners.
Even the time of day where optimal sexual intercourse occurs can create a discord between men and women, with a study by Lovehoney, a sex toy brand, confirming the eagerness of men as early risers compared to the late night preferences of women.
So with the differences abundant within the topic of sex between men and women, why wouldn’t preferred position be another zone of conflict.
In a study conducted on the patrons and readers of Women’s Health, women rated their least favorite sex positions based on general concerns about the position.
In the analysis of the data, women rated Doggy Style, Top Mount Position, Reverse Cowgirl, 69, and Missionary as the least favorable positions to be in, stating reasons such as reduced pleasure, infliction of pain, and the common thread being a lack of intimacy as the main sources.
So gentlemen, as always, get your stroke game up and play ball.
