Study Shows That Guys Usually Prefer A Bromance To Their Girlfriends
An article published by Medical Daily about the science of having a bromance, or as Urban Dictionary describes it as “the complicated love and affection shared by two straight males,” reveals that there are actually serious health benefits behind it.
More millennial men are choosing to just live with their friends and skipping out on the traditional route of getting married and moving in with their wives. Bromances are really a thing now.
It’s almost like guys woke up and realized they weren’t really marrying their homie.
All the times their bro had been their wingman, taken the least common denominator in a group of women so he could take the win, all the times he made you yak outside of the window so you didn’t get charged with a cleaning fee from Uber.
You realized this was the real friend, and not the girl who you were marrying. She’s important, she’s your boo, your main girl, but she’s not our best friend. That title has to be earned.
And this is a realization that I think more and more guys are coming to.
Carnivore Club surveyed 2,000 men and six in ten men prefer their best friend than their partner when it comes to hanging out and having fun. The study showed that most men laughed more with their friend than their partner, which was a huge contributor to the factors observed within.
The study basically showed in most, if not every instance, guys would choose their bro over their girlfriend. 36% of men would consider breaking up with their partner if they did not approve of their best friend. Ladies, don’t feel bad about it.
